- Orders placed for delivery to a mainland UK address, before 12pm (mid-day) Monday to Friday will be delivered the next working day normally by 4pm.
- Orders placed for delivery to a mainland UK address, after 12pm on a Friday or anytime at the weekend will be delivered the following Tuesday (excluding Bank Holidays).
- Orders placed for delivery to a non-mainland UK address can take up to 5 working days to be delivered.
- Our definition of UK mainland and our delivery charges reflect the policies of the courier company we use. You can arrange your own shipping if you prefer. Your chosen courier can pick up the items from our Garden Centre in Glossop (approximately 10 miles South East of Manchester) during normal business hours. To choose this option select 'customer collection' on the delivery information page. Please note that you should arrange your own shipping insurance, we cannot accept responsibility for damages which occur to any items once they have been collected by your courier.
- Delivery drivers will deliver to the entrance of premises, but any movement of the items to specific locations within the premises is generally dependant on the goodwill of the driver. Drivers may be prevented by Health and Safety legislation from moving certain items in this way. For particularly heavy items, the customer may need to assist with lifting the item from the vehicle.
- If the delivery cannot be made on the arranged day due to the customer not being present, then we may be charged by our courier for the failed delivery. Please note that in such a situation it is our policy to pass this charge onto our customers.
Returns Policy
- All items we sell, (excluding perishable goods), come with our 40 day return policy option. If you change your mind about your item within 40 days of receiving it (from date you sign the delivery note) you can return the item to us at your own expense and we will issue you with a full refund less the postage cost incurred. This only applies if the item is in its original condition, unopened and unused.
- If the item is faulty we will replace, exchange or refund the item at our own expense, subject to the item being inspected by our quality control department.
- If an item has been tampered with, altered, or misused, we can not be held responsible; however we reserve the right to replace or exchange the item at our discretion.
- Any items returned to Glossop Garden Centre without prior contact will not be accepted by our warehouse team and will be returned to sender.
- Glossop Garden Centre cannot be held accountable for any items in transit to us. We assume responsibility of the item once it has been accepted at our warehouse.
- Glossop Garden Centre cannot be held responsible for any manufacturing defects or design flaws. However, in these circumstances, we refer you to item 1.
