- Treat yourself to new herbaceous perennials for filling any gaps in your borders or plug with some cheerful summer bedding to give instant colour and impact hiding that bare patch of earth.
- Hoe and weed your veg and fruit patch and remember to water thoroughly during dry spells. Don’t forget as well as being thirsty they are also greedy so feed regularly. This will encourage your fruit and veg to be plump and tasty.
